Monday Made It!

I have fallen in love with my printer and my laminator! I have had them working hard the last little bit. But what I am working on this morning is Word of the Week from Your Thrifty Co-Teacher. I got really lucky and got this awesome product as a flash freebie..

I am really excited about getting these up in my classroom so I can give my students some new words to know and use!

Monday Meet Up

Peek at my week

Monday is not going to be a fun day. A family friend passed way last week and we have to go to a funeral for him. I am glad my mother-in-law was in town for the funeral because I know she would have been very upset if she would have missed it.

My mother-in-law will also be heading home on Monday. We all hate to see her go. It’s sad only getting to see her about once a year. Hoping we can change that once Chris finishes school!

The rest of the week is pretty normal. I will be keeping my friend’s 2 kids and that is always an adventure with all 4 of ours together. Maybe a science experiment will be in the works.

Hey, Friday is the 4^th of July. Hopefully we will cook out and get to see the fireworks.

Welp that’s my week,  so exciting huh? Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Five for Friday

I decided today to link up with Doodle Bugs for Five for Friday!!! You can click the button below and see others Five for Friday too!

My wonderful mother-in-law is in town. The girls have had so much fun hanging out with her and getting to stay up extra late and have camp outs with her. I know they will be sad to see her go come Monday. Hoping to take her out tonight for dinner to her favorite place!!!

Chris just about has the car he bought in March fixed and ready to be tagged. This is a huge deal since it was suppose to be an easy fix that has turned into 3 months of work, a ton of money and a lot of yelling and tears. Hopefully we can get it tagged by Monday or at least before the 4^th!

So glad it is the end of the month. Picked up my paycheck and bonus check this morning. Can  you say HAPPY GIRL!!!! This made me very happy because this is the first big girl job I have had and I have never gotten a bonus for anything before!! I guess I will be able to get the girls some new school clothes lol.

I have talked to both of my SLANTbox friends and I am super excited about getting to be a part of it. If you don’t know what I am talking about read on Lessons with coffee’s blog to find out, by clicking the button below!

Lastly, a couple nights ago I saw that a teacher was wanting to find a teacher from each state to do a post card trade with. I live  in North Carolina and wanted to be a part of it, but my state was taken L. Well, another teacher decided to do the exchange also here is the link so you can see if your state still needs someone and get in on the party to!
